TenCate doubles first half profits

Almelo – Netherland’s based technical textiles giant, TenCate has announced that its operating profit (EBIT) for the second quarter of 2010 has soared to approximately € 27 million, up 143% from second quarter 2009’s € 11.1 million, in advance of the publication of its half-year figures on 26 August 2010.

EDANA announces board of governors for 2010-2011

Incoming Chairman Jean-Marie Becker (Ahlstrom) will take over from Kenneth Strassner (Kimberly-Clark), who has retired from his previous position. Germans draw positive conclusions from ITMA ASIA + CITME

Frankfurt am Main - German textile machinery builders are said to be pleased with the recent ITMA ASIA + CITME 2010, held at the end of June in Shanghai. According to a survey of the VDMA Textile Machinery Association, over 60% of German exhibitors evaluate the prospects for post exhibition business to be very good or good.
