Wilmington, DE & Houston,TX - DuPont Nonwovens and Waste Management have launched a national mail-in recycling program to capture banners, envelopes and other items printed on DuPont Tyvek. This would provide a method for printers and other large volume users of printed products who are looking for a responsible and simple alternative to adding Tyvek to the nation’s landfills.

Once recycled, Tyvek items will be repurposed for other products such as decking, playground equipment and corrugated pipes. Terrot takes best-seller S3P172 to Shanghaitex

Chemnitz - German circular knitting machine builder Terrot is to show its best-selling S3P172 mini jacquard single jersey machine at the forthcoming Shanghaitex exhibition which will be held from in June.

The S3P172 machine is among the most successful and most frequently sold Terrot models worldwide and the company says that other producers have tried to emulate its easy-to-operate Jacquard selection technology, but none has ever succeeded in matching it in terms of quality or functional and production reliability. The machine operates using 3-way technique at every feeder and the selection mechanism moves the cylinder needles to the freely selectable knit-tuck-miss position. In fact Terrot says that the “S3P172 is often emulated, but never matched. To decide in favour of the Terrot mini jacquard model S3P172-1 is to opt for a great brand designed to address the most stringent quality demands”.
