Osaka - Teijin Fibers Limited, has developed what it says is the world’s first polyester-based cushioning material for swimwear bra cups, made with V-Lap, a vertically lapped nonwoven fabric that the company introduced in 2007. Swimwear incorporating the new bra cups will enter trial sales this summer, with full-scale sales and marketing planned for next year.

TenCate sells non-strategic associated company in Australia
Almelo - Royal Ten Cate (TenCate) and Noel P Hunt International Limited have reached agreement on the takeover of the TenCate 50% interest in the joint venture Geofabrics Australasia Pty Ltd of Cheltenham (Australia). The takeover price of the shares amounts to AUD 40 million (approximately € 23 million). The book profit on the sale of the 50% interest amounts to approximately € 11 million and will be incorporated in the half-year figures of TenCate.

Curtain of light offers energy savings for market gardens

Shima speeds into the future with MACH2X
Derby, UK – Pioneering manufacturer of advanced flat knitting machines for complete garment knitting, Shima Seiki Mfg., has reported early sales of its new MACH2X high speed Wholegarment knitting machine. Geotube selected for Nigerian and US projects
